Twitter We are looking for an experienced, creative, and multi-talented Senior Web designer to join our Corporate Communication Department. The ideal candidate must be highly creative with an experience of latest web-design trends and techniques. Candidate should have at least four years of experience in website designing and user interface. The candidate must be solution oriented with the ability to multi-task and make quick creative changes based on the feedback from the internal and external resources. The candidate must be familiar with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information and functionality. Responsibilities will include producing designs, prototypes, and various graphics for web sites, email campaigns and other marketing purposes.
Job Description and Requirement
- Minimum four years’ experience in web interface and layout design
- A Bachelor’s degree (or comparable work experience) and experience in a web-related environment
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and designing tools
- Extensive knowledge of current web markup or scripting languages: HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Must have Flash animation experience including action scripting
- Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media
- Willingness to work closely with information architects, editors, developers and others to produce a team-driven end product that leads to a top-notch user experience
- Knowledge of PHP, JSP, Apache and Linux would be an added advantage
- An awareness of SEO standards, Digital Marketing and web analytics
- Must be able to deliver high quality work consistently and on time
- Self-motivated with positive attitude.
